Established in 2008, Pet’s Desire Pet Sitting, LLC, is a locally-owned Professional Pet Sitter and Pet Boarding Service. We offer care at your pet’s home or boarding at our private residence in Grand Junction, Colorado. Our service area encompasses Grand Junction proper and much of the Redlands and Orchard Mesa regions.

Our number one priority is the safety and security of your pets while you are away. We deeply value the bond between humans and animals and pledge to provide the very best care and service. Our 10 year old Golden Retriever Mac is a bit of a hyper guy, but lovable like most Goldens. Kathi has welcomed him into her home and treats him like one of her own. Her home and yard are immaculate and she has the ability to separate dogs by way of fencing if there are any issues. Mac loves to go there and jumps out of the car and races to the door as soon as we arrive. It is just like home for him with the added bonus of having other animal friends to be with. It is a stress-free environment for our dog who does best with a calm person. We truly feel blessed to have found a happy place to leave our dog when we need to go away.

When we first met Kathi to care for our cat Wilson, she was incredibly thorough with her questions and paperwork. We felt confident we had found someone responsible to care for our sweet little man. We loved the report we would get upon our return of how Wilson did while we were gone. This made us realize how caring Kathi is. She truly cares about your pet which made us feel even better leaving Wilson in her care as we knew he was not only getting checked on but he was getting love. This meant a lot to us. She even would provide suggestions for our cat when he wasn’t eating well of things to try. We even learned new things about our cat from her like he liked to brushed against the grain (opposite of how his hair grows)- we had no idea! When our cute boy died recently, Kathi came over with tears in her eyes providing me with the most genuine hug & even a gift to remember him by. I highly recommend Kathi to care your fur babies. Since 2017 we have enjoyed the privilege of having Kathi Stahl at Pet’s Desire board our two Border Collies. Our dogs always are eager to go there, usually whining in anticipation as we approach her house. Kathi is incredible with dogs and introduces new dogs in a dog-savvy way. She has a large fenced yard and a dog-friendly house for her boarders. I like to visit my friend Kathi at Pet’s Desire. She gives me lots of pets and hugs, and lets me give her kisses. I meet new friends there and I always feel safe because Kathi makes sure that I get to meet the other dogs before I join their pack. Kathi takes me for walks and we get to play in her big yard. She has lots of comfortable places to relax in her house too. It’s so nice there that sometimes when my parents come to take me home I’m sad to leave, but I know that they will bring me back for more visits with her because they know I am safe and well-cared for there.
